In this section of the SSAMC web site new developments in the music camp will be listed. Also noted will be additions and changes to the web site as well as planned additions and changes, so you can quickly see what's different from how things were when you were last here!
THERE IS A LOT THAT"S NEW THIS YEAR!!

!!!... This year Bill and Eli Perras, two of the busiest touring entertainers around, will teach Booking classes: How to get the gigs and how to get asked back. Bill and Eli perform all the time. If you want to do that, better not miss Bill and Eli.

!!!... Greg "Gonzo" Gove is an amazing fingerstyle guitarist and three-finger bluegrass-style banjo picker. We've convinced him to share banjo with you this year. Want to play a million miles an hour and get all the notes right? Take Gonzo's classes. Have a look at his info on the Instructors page.

!!!... The wonderful songwriter Doug Spears is back with us to teach our songwriting classes once again this year! Songwriters, don't miss a chance to learn from Doug.

!!!... In addition to Doug's songwriting class we've added a class by noted Montana songwriter and recording artist Austin Truax, on song structure (how a song is put together for greatest effectiveness). Songwriters, there is a lot to know about this subject and knowing it can transform your songs. Don't miss this one!

!!!... Ukulele!! This year we have ukelele classes! I found out that Bruce Johnson, who has been on the camp staff for years, plays this immensely popular instrument, so I've convinced him to give you some classes in ukulele this year. Thanks, Bruce!!

!!!... This year at SSAMC we are continuing the mentored jam sessions. They've been very popular! Everyone loves to play, and now we are having jam sessions with Tampa musician Jenny James mentoring.

!!!... Doug Purcell continues as my on-site representative through the year, as I travel around the country making music. Doug will be here through the months to help make sure the camp goes on as planned.

!!!... The search engine has worked out, so it is still linked to the SSAMC web site. Now you can click on [Search Site] in the top menu and search for any terms. The search engine will tell you if the terms you seek appear, and if so where they appear, on the web site. Then when you click on the link at the top of each result listing, you will jump to the page where the search engine found the terms. Happy hunting!

This concludes updates for now, but keep checking this section for new things. Let me know what you'd like to see in the web site. I'm always open to suggestions. Send an e-mail to Charley Groth at rainbowpr@juno.com (click on E-Mail in top menu, or use your own e-mail service). Thanks!
